About La Paz

Victor Kalla was born in Camacho province, he arrived in Caranavi when he was one year old, his parents came there to grow coffee. Since he was a child he learned to grow coffee with his parents. Today he continues to work his land and is now renovating coffee plantations.
He started growing organic and fair trade coffee since 2017. His vision of coffee is To cultivate at least 5 or 6 hectares with the best possible quality. Have it stable and work as small organic producers.
Victor Kalla owns Finca San Juan, a small 4 hectares farm in the San Juan region. He grows Red Catuai and Typica in the shade of endemic trees, Sikilis and Mingas, all certified organic since 2017. Victor's aim is to continually improve the quality of the coffee produced, but also to increase production to 10 hectares by planting new varieties.
Victor Kalla is the second generation of coffee producers, he has 3 children. He is now 38 years old, he spent his entire childhood in a coffee plantation and learnt how to produce.
